Prim Shortage

Nearly everything in S.L. is made using a basic building block called a 'prim' ... often just a simple cube, sphere, cylinder, cone that can then be manipulated in all sorts of ways. In this picture you can see me at a building class learning how to twist and model simple prims into complicated objects.
When you get an island or rent/buy property in S.L. you usually get a fixed number of prims to use ... for a whole island it's about 15,000 .... which sounds like a lot .... but in fact with international schools island we have used up nearly all of our allowance and some things now have to be deleted in order to continue building .... a problem I never expected to happen.
If you want to see an example of how a simple prim is used to build an elaborate object then have a look at the video showing how a guitar was built ... on YouTube http://youtube.com/watch?v=bQL8_HB1HtQ
